The French national team has made history by becoming the first team to score three or more goals in five consecutive World Cup matches.

According to Oxu.Az, this was reported on the social network account "Squawka".

France defeated Sweden 3-0 in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup.

Earlier in the tournament, the French beat Norway (4-1), Iraq (3-0), and Senegal (3-1). In the 2022 World Cup final, France lost to Argentina 3-3 (2-4 on penalties).

France will face Paraguay in the Round of 16 on July 6.
