Galatasaray, aiming to start the new season with a different midfield line, has revealed the main target on head coach Okan Buruk's list.
According to Oxu.Az citing the "Sabah" publication, Galatasaray is closely interested in Senegalese midfielder Habib Diarra, who plays for England's Sunderland.
Transferred from Strasbourg to Sunderland at the start of this season for €31.5 million, Diarra has proven himself in England.
The 22-year-old footballer has made his mark this season with 3 goals and 3 assists in 21 matches.
Capable of playing as a number eight, defensive midfielder, and attacking midfielder, the player is valued at over €30 million. Having represented France at youth levels, Diarra chose to play for Senegal at the senior national team level.
