Pep Guardiola has informed Manchester City's management that he will leave at the end of the current season.

The unexpected move has been confirmed. The club is expected to release an official statement in the coming days.

According to reports, the Cityzens have identified their main candidate: Italian specialist Enzo Maresca, who previously served as Guardiola's assistant at City.

Guardiola has been Manchester City's head coach since 2016.
