This weekend, UFC will hold one of its most unique events ever. The "UFC Freedom 250" tournament will take place on the grounds of the White House, the official residence of the U.S. President.
The event, scheduled for June 14 (June 15 at 04:00 Baku time) in Washington, is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.
Seven fights are planned. In the main event, lightweight champion Ilia Topuria will face interim champion Justin Gaethje. In the co-main event, Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane will fight for the interim heavyweight title.
UFC is finalizing preparations for this landmark project. The tournament will go down in history as the first professional sports event held on White House grounds.

Azerbaijan is currently the only country in the South Caucasus and CIS region hosting UFC events. According to the contract, "UFC Fight Night" events are planned annually in Baku until 2028.
