Iran's national football team left an emotional message in the dressing room after their 0-0 draw against Belgium in the 2026 World Cup group stage.
According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by The Sun.
"From ancient Persia millennia ago to today's civilization, Iran's spirit lives on and remains strong. We came to Los Angeles with pride, fought with honor, and leave with dignity. Thank you for the hospitality, Los Angeles! And thank you to every Iranian who poured out their heart, voice, and soul during these two games. May peace, respect, and friendship prevail among all nations," the publication quoted the players' message.
Iran has drawn both of its first two World Cup matches: 2-2 against New Zealand and 0-0 against Belgium.
In the third round, Iran will face Egypt, currently leading Group G. The match will be held on June 27 at 07:00 AM Baku time.
