Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus announced his resignation as head coach of Al-Nassr after leading the team to the Saudi Arabia championship.
According to Oxu.Az, citing Ge Globo, Jesus had promised Cristiano Ronaldo that he would leave once they won the title.
Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr in December 2022, won his first Saudi league title.
Jesus stated: "I told Ronaldo, 'We will win the title and then I will go.' That's what happened. This was my last match for Al-Nassr."
The 71-year-old Portuguese has previously coached Al-Hilal, Fenerbahce, Flamengo, Sporting, and Benfica.
