The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has punished "Sabah" player Joy-Lance Mickels with a two-match ban conditional on one match, fining the club 3,000 manats.
The German player was sent off with a straight red card for aggressively throwing the ball at an opponent during the 33rd round match against "Neftchi" in the Misli Premier League. He was disqualified with a probation period of six months.
In the same match, "Neftchi" midfielder Emil Safarov was sent off with a second yellow card and received a one-match ban, while his club was fined 500 manats.
In the "Shamakhi" vs "Turan Tovuz" game, the western team was fined 700 manats because five of its players received yellow cards.
