Kapaz is considering specialists from Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Portugal for the head coach position.

According to Oxu.Az, citing Report, this was announced by Farman Alizade, a member of the Ganca club's Board of Directors.

He stated that they are looking for a replacement for head coach Azer Bagirov, who will leave after the match against Neftchi in the final round of the Misli Premier League (Round 33):

"Our list is extensive. We don't want to make a mistake in our choice. Of course, we have thoughts about choosing a foreign specialist. I can tell you that we are interested in head coaches from Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Portugal. The Portuguese specialist is not Jorge Cascilha, who works at Imishli. He is a coach working in his country's First League. We have also had negotiations with some local head coaches. We want to make the most successful choice for Kapaz. We believe that we can bring victories to our fans in the new season."

Alizade noted that after the match against Neftchi, they will achieve significant progress on the head coach issue.

It should be noted that the match between Kapaz and Neftchi will be held on May 23 at the Sumgayit City Stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade. After that match, the departure of western club's head coach Azer Bagirov will be formalized.
