Famous German coach Jurgen Klopp harshly criticized the opening match of the 2026 World Cup between Mexico and South Africa.
According to Oxu.Az, the game ended with a 2-0 victory for Mexico, but left a bad impression on Klopp.
Klopp said: "It's hard to call this a high-level game. The tactics were terrible, neither team played well. Mexico dominated but the game turned into counterattacks because South Africa defended too deep."
