Georgian midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of French club Paris Saint-Germain has been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Season.

According to Oxu.Az, the organization's press service released the information.

Kvaratskhelia scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 16 matches in the tournament.

The 25-year-old footballer has been playing for PSG since 2025. He has won the Champions League twice, the French league, and once the French Cup, French Super Cup, and Intercontinental Cup with the Paris club.

It is noted that Khvicha is the son of Badri Kvaratskhelia, who previously played for Azerbaijani clubs Kapaz and Shamkir and represented the Azerbaijan national team.
