Galatasaray's star player Lucas Torreira has revealed his intention to stay at the Istanbul club, with two years remaining on his contract.

The Uruguayan midfielder told "Picado TV": "I have an important contract with Galatasaray. I still have 2 years left, and my main thought is to continue my performance here as much as possible."

Torreira also addressed recent rumors about a move to Boca Juniors: "There was never such a possibility. Sometimes when I talk about it, people say I'm daydreaming, but I just express my great love for that club." He added that if a chance to play for Boca Juniors arises in the future, he would gladly take it.
