The Azerbaijan Tennis Federation has launched a unified and mandatory accreditation system for coaches.
According to Oxu.Az, the federation aims to develop tennis, standardize coaching activities, and strengthen the professional training system for national teams.
Previously accredited coaches will have their status reviewed and assessed for compliance with current requirements. Those meeting standards will have their accreditation renewed.
Coaches without accreditation will also have the opportunity to undergo the process according to federation rules. The goal is to improve the quality of tennis training and ensure proper development of young athletes.
Coaches who fail to obtain accreditation cannot participate in official federation programs, national team preparations, or development projects. Parents and young athletes should note: players training with unaccredited coaches will not be eligible to represent national teams or participate in international competitions, nor receive federation support.
Therefore, those aiming for a professional tennis career should prefer accredited coaches. The federation offers initial accreditation free of charge.
Accreditation is valid for a fixed period, after which re-evaluation occurs. New coaches can apply annually.
Coaches must send a copy of their ID and personal information to [email protected]. Contact: +994 55 694 14 66.
