Real Madrid defeated Athletic Bilbao 4-2 in the final round of La Liga. Kylian Mbappe scored his 25th goal of the season in 31 appearances.

The French forward became the league's top scorer for the second consecutive season. Vedat Muriqi finished second with 23 goals.

Mbappe scored 34 goals in his debut season with Real. Lionel Messi was the last player to be top scorer in back-to-back La Liga seasons.
