Real Madrid and France star Kylian Mbappe has become a target for Chelsea.
According to the British newspaper Mirror, London club owner Todd Boehly personally contacted Mbappe's mother and agent, Fayza Lamari.
It is also suggested that Xabi Alonso, whom Chelsea wants as head coach, could play a role in the potential transfer. The Spanish coach has expressed admiration for Mbappe's playing philosophy.
Mbappe's current contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2029, meaning any deal would likely be record-breaking.
