Argentine star Lionel Messi has been named to the MLS All-Star Game roster.

According to Oxu.Az, the information was published on the official MLS website.

The match will take place on July 29 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, where MLS All-Stars will face the Mexican league All-Stars.

The squad includes Messi, goalkeeper Bryan Schveyk, defenders Anthony Markanich, Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Tim Ream, Andy Najar, midfielders Sebastian Berhalter, Xavier Gozo, Hany Mukhtar, and forwards Hugo Cuypers, Son Hyun-min, and Lionel Messi.

Head coach Dean Smith will select 13 more players, while league commissioner Don Garber will add two more.
