Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the new head coach of Real Madrid. Both parties have signed a contract valid until the summer of 2028, and the agreement process has been fully completed.
According to Oxu.Az, renowned insider Fabrizio Romano announced the news on his social media accounts. It was noted that Real Madrid will pay a compensation of 6 million euros to Mourinho's current club Benfica for breaking the contract early.
Earlier reports in the media indicated that the specialist would have the decisive vote in transfers at the "Royal Club".
It is worth recalling that Jose Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013. Under his leadership, the team won the Spanish championship, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
