Jose Mourinho will earn six million euros annually if appointed as Real Madrid's head coach. This amount is close to Xabi Alonso's salary.

According to "Sport.es" journalist Ramon Alvarez de Monaya, the duration of the Portuguese tactician's contract is not yet known.

The portal also confirmed that Real Madrid will pay seven million euros to Benfica for the early termination of Mourinho's contract.
