The Swiss national team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, has been announced.

According to Oxu.Az, the Swiss Football Association released an official statement.

The Turkish-origin head coach Murat Yakin has included 26 players in the squad.

The Swiss national team squad for WC 2026 is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund), Marvin Keller (Young Boys), Yvon Mvogo (Lorient);

Defenders: Manuel Akanji (Inter), Nico Elvedi (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Miro Muhayim (Hamburg), Ricardo Rodriguez (Real Betis), Silvan Widmer (Mainz), Luca Hakes (Stuttgart), Orel Amenda (Eintracht Frankfurt), Eray Cömert (Valencia);

Midfielders: Ardon Jashari (Milan), Denis Zakaria (Monaco), Granit Xhaka (Sunderland), Johan Manzambi (Freiburg), Djibril Sow (Sevilla), Michel Ebißer (Pisa), Remo Freuler (Bologna), Christian Fassnacht (Young Boys), Fabian Rieder (Augsburg), Noah Okafor (Leeds), Ruben Vargas (Sevilla), Dan Ndoy (Nottingham Forest);

Forwards: Cedric Itten (Fortuna), Breel Embolo (Rennes), Zeki Amdouni (Burnley).

It is worth noting that Switzerland will compete in Group B against Qatar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Canada.
