Germany national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann has decided to resign from his position.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported this on his X social media page.

Recall that Germany lost to Paraguay in the World Cup round of 16. The match ended 1-1 after extra time, but Paraguay won 4-3 on penalties.

The 38-year-old Nagelsmann had been in charge since September 2023. Under his leadership, Germany reached the quarter-finals of the 2024 European Championship on home soil.
