Neftchi transfers Portuguese club's player

Neftchi FC is set to transfer midfielder Gustavo Clismann from Portuguese club Santa Clara. The Brazilian player is valued at €500,000-€1 million.

Neftchi FC has identified a new transfer target.

According to Portuguese media, the Azerbaijani club is interested in Gustavo Clismann, a midfielder currently playing for Santa Clara.

The Brazilian player spent 2025 on loan at Japan's Vissel Kobe. The 26-year-old's contract with Santa Clara expires next summer. Therefore, Neftchi will have to pay compensation to the Portuguese side to secure the transfer.

Reports suggest Santa Clara expects between €500,000 and €1 million for Clismann.

During his two seasons with Santa Clara, Clismann made 74 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
