Alessandro Nesta, a living legend of Italian football, has embarked on a new chapter in his career. The World Cup winner and two-time Champions League champion has been appointed head coach of Avellino.
According to the club's official statement, Nesta has signed a contract until June 30, 2028. This marks the next step in his coaching journey.
Last season, Avellino finished 8th in Serie B. Nesta will aim to elevate the team to new heights.
The 48-year-old tactician has previously coached Miami, Perugia, Frosinone, and Monza.
