Legendary German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has announced the end of his international career.
According to a post on Bayern & Germany's social media, Neuer described the decision as regrettable.
The 40-year-old holds the record for most World Cup appearances by a goalkeeper (23 games). He won the World Cup with Germany in 2014.
Germany exited the 2026 World Cup in the round of 16 after losing to Paraguay.
