New ranking of Azerbaijani athletes

Azerbaijani athletes' July 2026 ranking revealed: Hasrat Jafarov leads, top ten includes wrestling, boxing, taekwondo and judo representatives.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has published the ranking table of Azerbaijani athletes for July 2026.

Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (480 points) retains the top position.

Freestyle wrestlers Giorgi Meshvildishvili (460 points) and Arseniy Dzhioyev (420 points) take second and third places.

The top ten also include boxer Saidjamshid Jafarov (400 points), Greco-Roman wrestlers Murad Ahmadiyev (330 points) and Ulvi Ganizade (300 points), freestyle wrestler Nureddin Novruzov (270 points), taekwondo athlete Gashim Magomedov (270 points), judoka Hidayat Heydarov (270 points), and freestyle wrestler Islam Bazarkanov (265 points).
