Santos striker Neymar has officially obtained Italian citizenship.

According to Oxu.Az citing Sport-express, journalist Nicolo Schira reported the news.

The process was finalized on Friday. The 34-year-old was assisted by lawyer Emiliano Nitti.

Neymar is Brazil's all-time top scorer with 79 goals in 128 matches. This season, he has scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in 14 games.

He has played for Santos, Barcelona, PSG, and Al-Hilal in his career.
