The Azerbaijani national minifootball team winning the European Championship in Slovakia is truly a great success.

According to Oxu.Az, this opinion was voiced on the program "Kontra" broadcast on "Haber Global" TV channel.

The host reminded that the Azerbaijani national team becomes European champion for the second time and won gold medals at the 2025 World Championship held in Baku.

Former footballer Nihat Kahveci, a guest on the program, noted that Azerbaijan is on the rise in minifootball and is reaping the rewards. He congratulated all Azerbaijanis, calling the team's success a very important event.
