In the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, Portugal faced Croatia.

The match took place at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada, officiated by Norwegian referee Espen Eskas.

Portugal won 2-1. Goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo (penalty) and Gonçalo Ramos (90+4). Ivan Perišić scored for Croatia.

With this victory, Portugal advanced to the Round of 16. They will face Spain in the next round.
