In the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, Portugal faced Croatia.

The match took place at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada, officiated by Norwegian referee Espen Eskas.

Portugal won 2-1. Goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo (penalty) and Gonçalo Ramos (90+4). Ivan Perišić scored for Croatia.

With this victory, Portugal advanced to the Round of 16. They will face Spain in the next round.

Portugal finished second in Group K, beating Uzbekistan 5-0, drawing 1-1 with DR Congo, and 0-0 with Colombia.
