Portuguese footballer Jota Oliveira will continue his career in Azerbaijan.

According to Oxu.Az citing Fanat.az, the wing defender, whose contract with the third-tier Portuguese club "San Juan Ver" expired, has agreed with "Shamakhi".

The 25-year-old, who played for Portugal's U-18 national team, will sign a contract with the "Lions" after passing a medical examination.

It is worth noting that "Shamakhi" is preparing for the new season under the leadership of former "Kapaz" coach Azer Bagirov.
