Paris Saint-Germain has become the second club to win the UEFA Champions League in two consecutive seasons.
According to Oxu.Az, citing "Championat" publication, the Parisian club defeated London's Arsenal in the final of the 2025/2026 season.
The match, held at the Puskás Arena in Budapest, ended 1-1 in regular and extra time. PSG won 4-3 on penalties.
In the previous season's final, PSG had thrashed Italy's Inter Milan 5-0.
Before PSG, only Real Madrid had managed to defend the Champions League title, winning three consecutive titles from 2015/16 to 2017/18.
Note: The tournament has been called the Champions League since 1992; before that it was the European Cup.
