AFFA has imposed severe disciplinary penalties on several clubs in the Misli Premier League.
According to Oxu.Az, the decision was made at a meeting of the organization's Disciplinary Committee.
On May 22, during the 33rd round match between "Sumgayit" and "Qarabag", unauthorized persons entered the field, resulting in a 2,500 manat fine for Sumgayit.
In the same match, Qarabag fans used pyrotechnic devices, costing the Aghdam club an 8,000 manat fine.
On May 23, in the "Kapaz" vs "Neftchi" match, four players from Ganja club received yellow cards, leading to a 700 manat fine. In the 65th minute, Neftchi's player Ifenayi Matthew was sent off with a direct red card, receiving a 2-match suspension (1 conditional). The capital club will pay a 1,000 manat fine, and the player will be on probation for 6 months.
