Rashad Sadygov, head coach of Zira, made bold statements at a press conference ahead of the Azerbaijan Cup final against Sabah.
He emphasized his team's readiness despite a tight schedule: "We will play our 9th match in 40 days. The opponent is strong, but we are prepared."
Sadygov also discussed the final's impact on other clubs: "If we win, Neftchi will miss European competitions. A Sabah victory benefits Turan Tovuz. But we focus on our own goal."
The coach ruled out tactical surprises, aiming for an early goal. The final takes place on May 13 at 20:00 in Palms Sports Arena.
