Real Madrid captain Daniel Carvajal could leave the club after the season ends.

According to The Athletic, the club's management initiated the decision to part ways.

The 34-year-old defender's contract runs until the summer of 2026.

Carvajal is a product of Real Madrid's youth academy and has played 15 games this season.

He has made 449 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 14 goals and providing 65 assists.

Carvajal has won 6 UEFA Champions League titles and 4 La Liga championships.

With the Spanish national team, he has played 52 matches and scored 1 goal.
