Real Madrid and head coach Alvaro Arbeloa have mutually agreed to end his tenure at the club.
According to Oxu.Az, the Madrid club announced this on its official website.
"Real Madrid expresses its deep gratitude to Alvaro Arbeloa, who throughout his entire career at the club - from the moment he joined our academy - has always shown loyalty, dedication, and professionalism. His personality is an example of our club's values. Real Madrid, which will always be his home, wishes Alvaro Arbeloa and his family success in this new chapter of their lives," the club's statement read.
Under Arbeloa's leadership, Real finished second in the Spanish championship this season. Jose Mourinho is expected to be appointed as Real Madrid's new head coach.
