Ronaldo double leads Portugal to 5-0 win over Uzbekistan

The 2026 FIFA World Cup Group K second-round match between Portugal and Uzbekistan took place.

Played in Houston, USA, the match ended with a confident 5-0 victory for Portugal.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace in the 6th and 39th minutes. Other goals were scored by Nuno Mendes (17th), Rafael Leão (88th), and an own goal by Uzbekistan goalkeeper Abduvohid Nematov (60th).

With this result, Portugal earned their first win of the tournament, bringing their points to 4. Uzbekistan is still without a point.

On June 24 at 06:00 AM, Group K will see Colombia face DR Congo.
