Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace against Uzbekistan in the 2026 World Cup group stage, setting four records.
The 41-year-old forward became Portugal's all-time top scorer in World Cups with 10 goals, surpassing legend Eusebio.
Ronaldo also became the oldest player to score a brace in a World Cup match (41 years 138 days), breaking Lionel Messi's record.
He extended his own record for most career goals with his 975th goal, needing just 25 more to reach 1000.
Ronaldo became the first player to score at least 10 goals in both European Championships and World Cups.
