Mercedes driver George Russell won the sprint race at the Canadian Grand Prix, the fifth round of the Formula 1 World Championship.

McLaren's Lando Norris finished second, while Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli completed the top three.

The qualifying session is scheduled for later, with the main Grand Prix taking place on May 24.
