Ufa blogger Rustam Nabiyev has made history by climbing Mount Everest using only his hands.
Nabiyev, who lost both legs in 2015 when a barracks collapsed in Omsk, reached the world's highest peak in Nepal on May 20.
The week-long ascent was accompanied by five Sherpas and three personal guides. He dedicated his climb to everyone following him.
Nabiyev left Russia for Nepal on April 7 and prepared a will before the trip. He began the ascent on his 34th birthday, May 13.
Remember, Nabiyev was severely injured during military service in 2015 when a barracks collapsed. Now, he is a father of three and runs a motivational blog with millions of followers.
