Neftchi's goalkeeper Rza Jafarov admitted he had offers from abroad. He answered questions about his career in an interview with Idmanxeber.az.
"The season was mixed. I wanted to play more but didn't get the chance. Such periods happen in football," Rza said.
Regarding Samir Abasov's trust in Kenan Piric, Rza noted: "I respect the coach's decision. Competition is normal."
Speaking about his time at Gabala, the goalkeeper said: "My main goal was to get playing time. I couldn't be consistent, but I learned lessons."
On returning to Neftchi: "My first goal is to have a good training camp. I'm not afraid of competition," he said.
About offers from abroad: "There were offers from Romania, Iran, and Finland. The club didn't let me go. Now my aim is to establish myself at Neftchi," he emphasized.
Regarding the national team: "Being called up is an honor. Even if I don't get a chance, I will keep trying," Rza added.
