Sabah reveals fee for South African star

Sabah FC paid 7 million rand ($720,000) for South African defender Eyden McCarthy from Kaizer Chiefs, with a 10% sell-on clause.

Sabah FC has disclosed the transfer fee for new signing Eyden McCarthy.

According to "African Times", the Azerbaijani champions paid 7 million rand (approximately $720,000) to Kaizer Chiefs.

A notable clause in the contract: if the player is sold in the future, 10% of the fee will go back to the African club.

The 22-year-old defender made 33 appearances and scored 2 goals last season.
