Sabah, who achieved the "golden double" this season, aims to keep one of their key players.

According to Oxu.Az citing Idmanxeber.az, the club does not want to let go of striker Joy-Lance Mikels. The management has offered a new contract to the German forward, whose deal expires in summer.

Club officials have decided to retain the experienced player by offering him better terms than before.

The 32-year-old forward has not yet revealed his final decision. He asked the management for time to think.

Recall that Mikels currently leads the scoring chart with 19 goals this season.
