A scandal has erupted at Shaki PFK. Five team members refused to play in the final match.

The club management issued an official statement. It was noted that several players refused to take the field in the last round of the second league.

The statement emphasized that those players had received full salaries for all games in the second half and up to May. Only two matches were played in May, and there was no official salary delay.

The players made unfounded claims: "it's the last game, payment may not be made, pay in advance." Therefore, they refused to play.

Players who did not participate: Rasul Ibrahimov, Zaur Farzaliyev, Cherkez Huseynov, Mehdi Hashumov, Nazim Baghirov.

Investigation revealed that captain Rasul Ibrahimov contacted other players and urged them not to play.

As a result, Shaki PFK faced "Agstafa Genclari" in round 27 with only nine players.

The club management deemed this behavior contrary to professional football principles and internal discipline rules. They stated that legal steps would be taken and the players were warned in advance.
