Former Real Madrid and Spain defender Sergio Ramos has officially completed the purchase of Sevilla, becoming the club's new owner.
According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, who shared the news on X, the historic acquisition process has been fully finalized.
Ramos's older brother and agent, Rene Ramos, was closely involved in the deal. Before the official announcement, Ramos's lawyers are expected to take the necessary legal steps.
A product of Sevilla's youth academy, Ramos transferred to Real Madrid in 2005. He returned to his boyhood club in September 2023, playing the 2023/2024 season. Since early 2026, the 40-year-old has been a free agent.
