Shahdag Gusar, competing in Azerbaijan's First League, has undergone a significant staff change. The club has parted ways with head coach Elnur Abdullayev and his assistants Babak Allahverdiyev and Alimirza Dashzarini.

The management decided not to renew the contracts. The team finished last season in 5th place with 43 points.
