England's national team has been robbed during the 2026 World Cup.
According to Oxu.Az and Daily Mail, the boots of star players, along with official match balls and important training equipment, have been stolen. Security staff suspect the drivers transporting the gear may be involved.
The English Football Association is cooperating with local police to recover the stolen items. Journalist Craig Hope reports that among the missing items are boots of team leaders Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham. The team has lost almost all training balls, leaving only one.
Additionally, tactical boards and other equipment from Thomas Tuchel's coaching staff were stolen, potentially complicating World Cup preparations. Law enforcement has launched an investigation, focusing on the drivers as suspects.
The English Football Federation has not yet issued an official statement.
