Vice-president of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation Taleh Nasibov commented on the national team's victory at the European Championship.
Speaking to journalists at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, he said: "We finished the group stage in first place, then faced strong opponents. Our players were well-prepared."
Nasibov emphasized: "As world champions, we had great responsibility. We took preparation seriously and won the European title."
He thanked the fans: "We are grateful to those who supported us in Slovakia. Their support was a source of motivation. The team played every match to win. As a result, we became two-time European and one-time world champions."
Nasibov expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev: "The allocation of 1 million manat as a reward made us proud. His constant support is a strong motivation for the players."
