Former Bayern Munich and Germany national team star Thomas Müller has separated from his wife Lisa after 17 years of marriage.
This was reported by the German publication "Bild".
Earlier, it was reported that Lisa Müller did not move with him to Canada after his transfer to an MLS club.
The couple's lawyer, Christian Scherz, stated: "They parted without any arguments or scandals. They will not make any statements on this matter."
Thomas and Lisa married in December 2009 when both were 20 years old.
Now 36, Müller plays for the Vancouver club and has scored 4 goals in 12 matches in the MLS regular season.
