Toni Kroos, former Real Madrid midfielder and World Cup winner with Germany, has harshly criticized the current national team after their early exit from the 2026 World Cup.

According to Sport1, Kroos said: "Currently, we have no world-class player in the squad. We have players with potential to become world-class, but that doesn't mean they are at that level."

"World-class players decide matches at the World Cup. They are the top scorers. We have no one on that list. We need to be honest," he emphasized.

Reminder: On June 30, Germany sensationally lost to Paraguay on penalties in the Round of 32, exiting the tournament early.
