Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon has broken the all-time record for the longest clean sheet streak in World Cup history.
In the Round of 32 match of the 2026 World Cup against Austria (3-0), the 29-year-old keeper kept his net untouched, extending his streak of clean sheets at the tournament.
With 519 minutes without conceding a goal, Simon surpassed Italian legend Walter Zenga's 36-year-old record (517 minutes) to claim the best mark in World Cup history.
