Van Dijk Sets EPL Age Record

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, aged 34 years and 320 days, has become the oldest player to feature in every minute of an English Premier League (EPL) season in 2025/2026.

According to Oxu.Az citing championat.com, van Dijk played all 38 league matches.

The defender also appeared in 55 games across all competitions this season, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists.

His contract with Liverpool runs until summer 2027.
