WC 2026: Coaches' Fight Sparks Mass Brawl

A World Cup 2026 group stage match between Canada and Qatar ended in a mass brawl.

According to Oxu.Az citing Gazeta.ru, the confrontation started right after the final whistle, involving players and team staff.

The scandal erupted after a dispute between Canada head coach Jesse Marsh and Qatar coach Julen Lopetegui.

Note that the match, held in Vancouver, Canada, ended with a 6-0 victory for the hosts.
