WC 2026: Portugal, Colombia, DR Congo reach round of 32

The 2026 World Cup continues with third round matches. On the second matchday, two games in Group K took place.

The Democratic Republic of Congo faced Uzbekistan. The match ended 3-1 in favor of the Congolese. With four points, the African team finished third in the group and qualified for the playoffs. Uzbekistan finished last with zero points and exited the tournament.

In the other group match, Colombia faced Portugal. The game ended goalless: 0-0.

As a result, Colombia topped the group with seven points, while Portugal finished second with five points, both advancing to the round of 32.
